The Year 2000 crisis was described by more than one consultant as the Sale of the Century: an opportunity to cash in on fear, uncertainty and doubt. Twenty years later, there is no lack of FUD. Among the major sources are the obvious three: disruptive innovation, 4IR, and digital transformation. And there are dozens of minor ones as well. Some of these emperors are entirely naked, and many are scantily clad.
